In a video posted on Japan's Nicovideo, a man called Ryuto demonstrates his homebrew game, cobbled together with a Rift, an Arduino control board, a LeapMotion pressure sensor ... and artificial breasts made from what looks like a gel-filled mousepad. Classy.
This isn't the first DIY-sexytimes game made for Oculus. There's also a simulation where you can lay your head in an anime character's lap, courtesy of Japanese developer Up Frontier.
To be honest, I think it's less messed up to grab a pair of artificial bazongas than it is to practice shooting virtual guns. But don't get me wrong. This is creepy.
The anime girl, Mami, grabs her chest defensively and makes a surprised noise every time Ryutu pulls a Danny Zucko, giving the whole thing less of an endearing-virgin vibe and more of a subway-groper-in-training theme. Would it have been difficult to make Mami a willing participant to the caressing in this uncanny valley? No more difficult than constructing this whole bizarre project.
